Thank you for ordering from Rosemary and Rhubarb.

By placing an order and completing your payment, you have understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

  • All inquiries must be processed through the contact page on my website. Inquiries must include name, email, date of the event, any allergies, the number of servings for a cake, or the number of dozen(s) of cookies/ other treats. Cake orders must include a description of the flavor, buttercream type and flavor, and design or theme. All inquiry responses may go to your spam. It is the responsibility of the customer to check their spam folder.

  • After discussing and finalizing details of your cake or dessert order, you will be sent a quote. Only when payment has been received, will your order be confirmed. It is the customer’s responsibility to remember to pay to confirm their order. Any non payment may be subject to cancellation.

  • After payment, any change requests must be made via email. Alterations to your order will be made with Rosemary and Rhubarb discretion and confirmation. Any change requests must be made at least one week prior to your delivery or pick up date. Changes may require additional charge/ payment.

  • Cancellations made 30 days before your order is due will receive a full refund minus any supplies or decorations already bought. Cancellations made 2 weeks before your order is due will receive a 50% refund minus any supplies or decorations already bought. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before your order is due will receive a 0% refund. If you need to change your date, Rosemary and Rhubarb will do its best to accommodate but cannot guarantee that we can do so.

  • Orders are to be picked up in Natick, MA. Delivery fees are based on location and driving time. If you choose delivery, you understand that Rosemary and Rhubarb does its best to deliver on time and in perfect condition. However, Rosemary and Rhubarb cannot be held liable for any situations that are out of our control (traffic, accidents. etc.)  Delivery or pick up times are allowed a 30 minute grace period before a rescheduling fee of $50 will be charged. Communication is always greatly appreciated with regards to late or early pick up times. A delay in delivery is not grounds for a discount or refund.

  • If you are transporting your cake - the cake must be transported on the floor of the car (I recommend the passenger side floor). Please do not place the cake on a seat or in someone's hands. If a quick stop or sharp turn is made, the cake can slide off the seat. That being said, drive carefully and please do your best to avoid short stops and sharp/fast turns. Especially on warm days or warm months, AC should be on in the car, preferably aiming at the cake. In the winter, your heater should not be on full blast or aimed at the cake. Buttercream acts like butter and can melt when near a heat source. Cakes that are picked up the night before you plan to serve the cake must be stored in a refrigerator. I recommend taking the cake out of the fridge at least 1-2 hours before serving, allowing the cake to come to room temperature before serving. Try not to display the cake in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Tiered cakes are highly recommended to be transported by a professional. But if you choose to pick up and transport your tiered cake, or any dessert, any damages that occur at the fault of the driver. Cake or dessert repairs may be up to Rosemary and Rhubarb time and discretion, and may incur a repair fee.

  • Rosemary and Rhubarb takes precautions regarding allergens but cannot guarantee 100% no cross contamination. Products may contain or may come in contact with milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, sesame, wheat, and other allergens. The customer is responsible for informing all their guests for possible allergens. Rosemary and Rhubarb is not responsible for any allergic reactions.

  • Rosemary and Rhubarb puts a lot of care and effort into each order. If you have any concerns about your order, please address the concern immediately during pick up or delivery. If there is a problem with your order after pick up or delivery, all remaining parts of your order must be returned within 24 hours for inspection. If the complaint is valid, Rosemary and Rhubarb will offer a maximum refund of the total value of your order. Rosemary and Rhubarb is not responsible for any other compensation or expenses incurred by the customer in the event of a return/refund.

  • Once your cake is picked up or delivered, Rosemary and Rhubarb is no longer responsible for the cake or desserts. Rosemary and Rhubarb is not liable for any unforeseen circumstances included but not limited to weather, traffic, accidents, illness, transportation problems, or other causes beyond reasonable control.
